Freedom of information and data protection

As an old bloke, I find all this Freedom Of Information and Data Protection a little tiresome. However, coupled with the internet, it does mean that there is loads of stuff out there, if you are prepared to trawl though it. I hope I have found the most relevant info for learners, but please let me know of anything interesting you have found.

Driving Test Routes

Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the DSA now publishes test routes. To find test routes in your area, search for your local test centre at the DSA web site, and you will see links to PDF pages containing all the test routes for that centre.

Bothered?

Is this going to help you pass your test? Probably not. The data is minimal; for example, manoeuvres are not included. If you are a driving instructor working in a new location, the information may be helpful. If you are a learner driver, your instructor should know the local area well enough to prepare you for your test. Learning around twenty different routes would probably be a waste of your time.
