Don't Lose Your Licence
Points
Drivers who commit driving offences get penalty points on their licence. This DVLA page has more details.
New drivers
During the first two years after passing your driving test, if you get six penalty points on your licence, it will be revoked. You will have to:
- apply for a new provisional licence;
- pass the theory test;
- and pass the driving test.
Many new drivers are losing their licences this way. The latest available statistics show that 1321 new drivers lost their licence in July 2005.
Stating the obvious
Please don't let this happen to you. Take care and be safe.
