Ken Locke is a very talented person in many ways, not least with his gift of knocking up an amusing verse for a birthday or special occasion. Over the years we've received many brilliant verses. Here are all the ones I can find:

Fantasy Foshball
"Fantasy Foshball" was an epic! Jimmy (my son) played football for Berg Colts, who at the time had a …. (how shall I put this?) ….. less than perfect record. Lets just say they didn't win many games.
Ken and I had persuaded Jim to support Southampton, who weren't particularly brilliant themselves, but were premier league with the great Matthew le Tissier (Jim's hero at the time - mine too).
Ken quizzed me about Berg, their names and positions, and crafted this poem. It must have taken ages.

Thirty Eight
A poem in my birthday card. Brilliant.

French Trip
Another birthday card, this time when my birthday would be at the same time as a family holiday in France.

Tina's Birthday
A cracker!

A Senile Lament
This was penned for my 40th birthday, and I had various presents to open as the poem was read out. I remember that the presents included a pair of slippers, and a copy of "Mayfair" (where did I put that.....)

My Least Favourite Things
Occasionally, I try to return the favour. I made up a verse for Ken's birthday which was to be sung to the tune of "My Favourite Things" from the Sound of Music. Here is the verse I got from Ken a few months later....
